We have it - the first "tangible" results of our activities within the international project in which LAB 60+ is a partner are now available on the internet! In the GreenerAge project we are entering the next stage of activities, and the culmination of the previous ones is the website we have prepared for you. (more…)

What does our work in cooperation with architectural studios consist in? First of all you are probably wondering that LAB60+ is mostly made up of female architects and urban planners (it so happens that our team is heavily feminised) - so why do we need others to talk over the project? We hurry with the answer... LAB60+ is here to: - SUPPORT the design process and not disturb it or interfere with it, we care about its continuity and smooth execution - that is why we treat our work as a "brick" - know-how in the area of many aspects in which architecture studios usually do not specialise - MAKE SURE that everything resulting from our analysis is implemented, therefore we often use the "checklist" tool - DEVELOP CONSENUS to achieve it through "brainstorming", but also other techniques that we use in the design process P.S. the most interesting ideas are always born from this - SOLVE PROJECT CHALLENGES, which in the case of senior and multi-generational facilities are not the easiest, but for 6 years we have been learning and developing to be able to cope with them - COORDINATE cooperation with the Investor, if there is such a will...  - DRAW CONCULUSINS from the cooperation for further stages of the project and future projects Do you want to learn more? “Hej Stary_a!” – LAB60+ x NOWY TEATR
"Why is it worthwhile, when you are in your teens, to join the people dreaming up visions of old age? Can theater help in the journey to the future and make us imagine our old age in 30, 40 or 50 years from now? What changes can we make while designing our old age? How do we talk to the old age that slumbers within us?" We will try to answer these questions, together with the New Theatre and the Center for Gerontological Education, in the project: 𝗛𝗲𝗷 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆_𝗮! 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗢𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗝 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗢𝗦́𝗖𝗜, which will include a series of workshops for high school students, educators, and open house events that will be geared towards those over the age of 16. The aim of all activities within the framework of "Hey Stary_a!..." is to generate solutions, ideas, motives for the creation of an Old Age Manual, which will be a collection of good practices and exercises for creative and educational activities with the "new old age".

Sound interesting? - SIGN UP! We start already on March 9!

Erasmus+ GreenerAge
Erasmus+ GreenerAge
We end 2021 with a very good news! Our Foundation Laboratory of Architecture 60 +, some time ago was invited by international partners to submit an application in the program Erasmus + in Key Action 2 and with the New Year 2022 will implement for the next 2 years the project entitled. "GreenerAge - CLIMATE-CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL LITERACY FOR URBAN CITIZENS 55+" in partnership with: - TAMPEREEN KORKEAKOULUSAATIO SR AFEDEMY from Findland (https://www.tuni.fi/en) - ACADEMY ON AGE- FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENTS IN EUROPE BV from The Netherlands (https://www.afedemy.eu/) - ISIS GMBH, Germany (https://isis-sozialforschung.de/de/) - SHINE 2EUROPE, LDA from Portugal (https://shine2.eu/) The aim of the project is to engage people aged 55+ in the challenges we are facing with environmental change and the climate crisis, affecting the health and well-being and quality of life of EU citizens. Our lifestyles and consumption behaviour influence many aspects of our lives, including climate change and environmental protection, which are key priorities in Europe. As the research illustrates, although 55+ people are concerned about climate change, they often do not feel that they will be directly affected by it, nor that they can personally take action to stop it. Therefore, GreenerAge focuses specifically on older people and aims to positively inform, engage and reinforce positive action on climate change and reducing environmental impacts in everyday life. In an interdisciplinary and international partnership, the project will work together to identify goals and challenges that may affect our climate future. The end result will be the development of a common compendium of knowledge on environmental change (for people 55+) and the construction of a platform, accessible and friendly especially for people 55+. We thank the associated partners: GZM Metropolis and Tyska Senior Citizens Council, for the support given at the project submission stage and we hope to cooperate at the implementation stage!
