Lab60+ x Metropolia GZM
Last week an expert workshop took place, organized by LAB60+ and GZM Metropolis, for representatives of 41 municipalities of GZM on working out the concept of ageing-friendly municipalities of the future. This is the second stage of a project carried out by the Architecture Lab 60+ on behalf of the GZM, as part of which a survey was conducted some time ago, and the workshop became the next stage of in-depth research in this area. One of the workshops was on the silver economy, with a private sector focus - what is its role (current and future) in creating age-friendly municipalities? We would like to thank all participants of the workshop for their involvement and contribution to the formulation of the vision for age-friendly municipalities of the GZM, which is extremely important for ourselves, but also for the future of our children! We are currently working on completing Stage 2 and proceeding to Stage 3, the phase of formulating the concept of age-friendly municipalities.
