As a part of Project "Old age of Millenials i n Bytom 2060", Edyta Sdowska condacted the workshops about designing the city of the future. The students searched for the concept of a city which is future friendly to an aging society from the project "Initiative of Excellence". We are pleased to announce that during the XIV International Invention and Innovation Fair INTARG® 2021, which took place on 15 and 16 June 2021, the project "Robo-Assistant as an element of equipment of the elderly person's control centre" in which we were partners implemented at the Silesian University of Technology (Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology) in the formula PBL received a GOLD MEDAL. On 19 May 2021, a meeting was held to discuss the concept of creating an urban community garden in Zabrze - Maciejów, which was prepared under the supervision of Dr Iwona Benek in cooperation with Anna Szewczenko, a group of students from the Faculty of Architecture, Silesian University of Technology, and representatives of the local community in the district.
