At the inaugural meeting of the Council on March 1, Agnieszka Labus received a two-year act of appointment to the Council for Senior Policy from the Minister for Senior Policy Marzena Okle-Drewnowicz[/caption]
"I know that I am there to redefine and bring a new perspective in the way of thinking about senior policy, not only in today's perspective, but above all, senior policy in relation to the future - to the dynamically changing needs and lifestyles of citizens who live in , live, learn, work and shop in environments that should support their healthy longevity." - said Agnieszka Labus.
To achieve this, we need integration, a policy that will accommodate different generations, sometimes conflicting interests and the issues of many ministries. The interdisciplinary team of experts and the openness and commitment of the ministerial team give hope for a new opening and a broader look at senior policy than before, which should concern the shaping of a broadly understood therapeutic environment, guaranteeing various models of support for people who are dependent and require support, as well as a preventive environment that will provide us with throughout the life cycle preparing for positive aging and healthy longevity.
