Social Innovations Facing Old Age.

Social Innovations Facing Old Age.

Recent weeks at LAB60+ have been a time of changes, trips, meetings, improving knowledge and making new contacts.
Last week, our Coordinator Malgorzata Undzło-Haverberg took part in the “Social Innovations towards Old Age” Fair organized by the Society of Creative Initiatives “ę” and PCG Poland in Warsaw.

Representatives and representatives of social innovation incubators, the ministry, offices, NGOs met there.
Of particular interest to us was Magdalena Rosochacka-Gmitrzak’s speech on “Aging. Some of the hottest social challenges”, which drew attention to a new perspective on aging that is close to us:

🍀 Recognizing the diversity of older people and looking at human life not only through the eyes of economists (working age) or demographers (reproductive age)
🍀 Variable potentials across the life cycle and unleashing diverse talents across the lifespan
🍀 Developing new ways of thinking about old age, and not just through a leisure participant
🍀 Intergenerational and intragenerational adaptation to aging, i.e. ” improvise, adapt, overcome” ( U.S. Army Marines, by Clint Eastwood)
🍀 Socialization and sensitization of institutions

Congratulations on the event and thank you for the opportunity to participate!
